Christmas Lights

Last night while looking for a movie to watch with the girls (and having no success), I remembered a news article I had read the night before about a house that does a light/music show every year.  I asked the girls if they wanted to go on an "adventure" in our pj's and that got them really excited!  We grabbed some of our favorite chex mix and headed out!

4 C Chex or Crispix (favorite cereal)

2 C peanuts

2 C raisins

2 C pretzels

2 C M&Ms

Combine all the above.  Mix 1/2 C honey and 1/4 C melted butter.  Pour over the cereal mix and then spread onto a couple baking sheets.  Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.  Spread out onto wax paper and let cool completely.

Back to the light show...I can't believe this is the 15th year this guy has done this and I am JUST now finding out about it, but it was so cool!  You just pull up and turn your radio on to the station number on the sign and voila!  Pretty impressive for our small town. :)  Good times and a good memory!
